Our Vision
To restore Atlantic Salmon in the Aroostook River watershed for sport fishing and subsistence of tribal peoples, as well as to restore, preserve, and conserve Atlantic Salmon and to work with and encourage constituted authorities and other conservation organizations.
Our Approach
Through grant funding and charitable donations, we are re-establishing the critically endangered Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar) species in the cool waterways of Northern Maine through breeding and hatching programs.
Our Accomplishments
The Dug Brook Hatchery, located in Sheridan, ME, is actively hatching and growing salmon smolts for Northern Maine Watersheds. We have, however, outgrown our current location and are looking to expand in order to grow and produce salmon from eggs to adulthood.
